I don't see a pic. Unfortunately you won't be able to tell without painting a sample. Seeing it in your home with your light and furniture is the only way to really know. I just got back from the SW store myself so i understand, but its better to buy a sample that doesn't work than a gallon. Try getting them while the paint is 40% off thru monday.

And no, the top color on the chip can be used for anything. It just depends on the look you're going for.

Kim -- the lightest color on a Paint Strip isn't necessary meant for Trim and/or Ceiling but it is always a nice complement to other colors on the strip (given two shades difference).

I did look up your color SW 7028 and it doesn't look white at all ... however ... in a big space with a lot of natural light it may seem 'whiter' than shown. You may want to consider a shade darker like SW 7029 Agreeable Gray. Both of these colors in this sequence seem 'brown-based' to me. Lovely.

I am not sure about your reference to SW 7008 Alabaster being in the same room or not ... but that color (SW 7008) ... looks yellowish to me ... and very pretty!. If SW 7008 is the Trim in your room ... I'd go a little darker with your walls than SW 7028.

Is your color objective taupe/brown walls with cream-ish trim?
