Recipe for linseed oil based paint

Hi - I'm thinking of painting my wooden studio with a natural linseed oil paint as I heard that it lasts ten years and protects the wood well. Anyone know where I can get a recipe from?

RE: Recipe for linseed oil based paint

A freind did it on an exterior patio cover and it is still looking and protecting well for over twenty years now. The wood that he finished is protected from extreme weather so I dont know how it would hold up if exposed, but for interior, it should last longer than ten years I would think.

Here is a link that might be useful: swedish oil paint
