Painting over old wood paneling - Using BIN Primer

I am painting my family room, which is the old cheap fake wood paneling that comes in big sheets. I have spoken to my local paint shop and have all the basics down. However, last night we applied the BIN primer.... We did all the edges with a brush and then rolled the walls. Where we used the brush, the BIN is a little thinner because it is such a watery substance to apply. The roller helped it stick more thickly. Although it's noticeably thinner on the edges where we did the brushwork, it does still cover the paneling. Just not as heavily as where we rolled the BIN. So does this mean we have to apply a second coat of BIN before painting? Or will the paint still stick pretty well?
