As you are looking for some neutral colours for guest room, i would suggest in contrary to opt for bright colours. As guests will come only for some days to meet you, and they would definitely liked to be pampered. Bright colours have the capacity to create a happy aura which can make the mood enthusiastic and playful. Try it once and I am sure your guest gonna love the room.

Thank you Williambrown. I did not see any colors listed in the article. I am looking for brand and paint color suggestions. Photos would be great too.

Do you have any pics of the room? It would be good to see the bed coverings & drapery (if any).
Lots of people on the Home Decor site like Benjamin Moore (BM) paints.
There are several posts showing neutral colors in homes.
I have BM Revere Pewter in most of my house & feel it is a great neutral. It's a greyish taupe.
Another frequently used neutral is BM Manchester Tan. It leans more to the tan color compared with RP.
