Color for Room Next to Chestertown Buff?

Just finished painting our living room Ben Moore Chestertown Buff and it looks great. But now the front hall, up the stairs , and the upstairs hall, which were all painted Windham Cream several years ago, look washed out against the Chestertown Buff. Or maybe it just seems to clash a bit.

While the living room has good light, the halls and stairway have virtually no natural light, so we'd prefer to keep it a lighter color. Our trim is standard white (dove?). The dining room is BM Chili Pepper red. It's a 50 year old standard colonial.

Any thoughts for the hallway and stairway walls? Thank you.

You might post in home decor for more advice.

The BM color gallery will post suggestions of colors that go with a particular paint. You might also look at the colors in their williamsburg collection for some inspiration.
