Glass blocks for painting

Hello!

Can anyone tell me of a supplier for glass blocks for painting? Are these just regular blocks I can get at the store, or are they special in some sort of way? I've never put my hands on one and would like to try painting one.

A Canadian supplier would be best, as I live in Kingston, ON.
