Hello,

So we recently re-painted our home. We went with more modern colors, a light grey with a dark trim. It fits better into our lifestyle and the inside of the home. Before it looked like a big blue barn! We are surrounded by farmhouses and wanted to make our home a bit different from most. As we went with a more neutral color pallet, outside and in, I REALLY want to do a red front door. I grew up in DC and now live in Colorado and I always loved the grey row homes with red doors. My fiance, bless his heart, is an engineer and does not have a creative bone in his body, so his is unsure of the colored door. In my opinion we need at least one pop of color that we can do accents off of. I plan to create a porch swing and benches for our wrap around porch and really want to make the accents for the pillows and such the red matching the door. So, any words of wisdom or opinions on the color? Tried to get a red that was deep color that did not look purpely or brown. Thanks!!
