Advice on exterior pain colors

We have a lake house that we want to change the exterior paint color on from a blue/grey to a dark taupe with a lighter trim. Any suggestions?

As the subject line states-advice on paint colors. There are a thousand taupe colors to choose from so I am reaching out to a community more knowledgeable than myself for color recommendations. Maybe there are painters on here who can recommend dark taupe colors and lighter trim colors that work well together.

We just bought an old house and would like to add exterior shutters. The vinyl siding is in good condition. It is cream colored. Do we match the roof color to the shutters? My hubby likes black for the shutters,but not sure it would look good.
One more question is do we put shutters on all the windows or just in the front?
