My husband wants to have our unfinished basement room painted so that it looks clean and fresh for storage and for house projects. The walls are rough cement, and the floor is the same. Both have assorted stains and discoloration spots. We want to use the least toxic paint possible, but we also want the paint to work. In addition, we want to make sure the walls can breathe. Any suggestions on what sort of paint would be best?
