| i've tried to search "primer" unsucessfully, even tho primer is shown in the title under the latest posts in paint catagory. i'm looking for the best drywall primer for our new home. any suggestions on how to find these posts? is it possible the search feature is not working (correctly)? thx |

| I don't know why this got bumped to the top suddenly. OP is probably long-finished with his painting. Zinsser Bullseye 123 is one good "all-around" primer, though PVA Drywall primer is generally less expensive and intended for new drywall. The Gardenweb search feature is inefficient. Use Google and search with gardenweb as one of your search terms. |

| Before Pratt & Lambert was bought by SW they had a primer called Suprime 4, a very good drywall primer. See if they still make the stuff, if there is a P&L dealer around? |
