| Please recommend a long lasting stain for cedar shingles on my house. The shingles are 3 years old and never stained. They have a fire retardant. (Looks like a power wash will clean them up well.)
80% of house will require scaffolding, which I can't afford to do too often! I'm looking for recommendations for 2 products. On the south side, that no one can see, I will use a solid stain or paint. For the west side, I want a natural look and am willing to re-stain every 3- 5 years. A contractor suggested Flood's new "UV@5 Oil" or "UV ultra Oil" (it is apparently new). Anyone use this product? can you suggest others? |
