Bedroom Paint Color

Posted by northbynortheast (My Page) on

I am looking for suggestions on what color to paint a master bedroom. We have cherry wood shaker style furniture, and would like to design around two pieces: a blue/gray comforter (pictured) and a mostly blue/purple/yellow watercolor painting. The bedroom has dormered ceilings and gets good light. We are thinking maybe a light yellow, but are not sure.

I have attached a picture of our comforter and part of the bed.

All suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Here is the painting I mentioned.

Any of the colors in the painting would work well. You can go toward the yellow or the green or even the lavender....probably not repeat blue as it's already in the spread. I'd probably aim for the yellowish beige in the background of the print on the upper left corner.
