Can 3m Blue Painters tape be left in place

indefintiely.....for example if I wanted to create a blue pinstripe with it...or will it start to let go over time?

Hi AP2!

The adhesive isn't designed to be very "permanent" obviously. It'll start to release after a while.

Were ya thinkin' of doing this on an interior wall?!

yes...thinking if I could find some sort of 1/2" wide roll of something in navy blue that has an adhesive...it would be easier than painting stripes...like a pistripe or something but the pinstripes in the auto store only come in 1/4" widts...try to a ny yankees theme....1/2" strip every 8"....
