You can paint over it, but expect the sand to still be there. Painting over it will reduce its effect though. It's been some time, but I think I have just pole sanded really well and was almost able to get the walls smooth that way.

Yep...easily painted over.

I'd DEFINITELY prime however, because the Suede surface is fairly porous!
Make sure walls are clean first!!

Use a Satin-sheen or higher in the bath!

I have RL Suede in a couple rooms. I had to call their CS department once about a different question, so I tossed in one about repainting someday. CS rep told me just prime and paint with standard latex. I was going to try that out on a scrap piece of drywall but never did. When 'someday' comes, I'll probably sand it smooth first. (Much as I've enjoyed the suede paint, I dread that job!)

does anyone know someone that can do the suede painting on a house? Or where to find a professional who does it?
