Painting Old Galvanized Trim

Hello. I need some expert advice . I'm going to be hand scraping some century old galvanized building cornice. I will be leaving anything that doesn't want to scrape off. I'll be giving it a vinegar solution wash, (tsp is too hard to rinse off here at 50 feet off the ground) My question is--do I need a special primer for galvanized metal, or will a Benjamin Moore acrylic paint/primer in one adhere? I need to rent a scissor lift to do this, so I have limited time. Thanks! Mal

Bulls Eye 123 PLUS works great over "clean" galvanized metal. I wouldn't risk using a self priming acrylic over galvanized metal, especially since it's 50 feet up.

Not an oil based, adhesive primer?
