| Installing wainscotting on first floor of home,
What sheen can you recommened painting the chair rail down to the baseboard including the wall to make it look like real panels? I have used Ben Moore aura matte finish in most of the home with good results . I have thought of trying their new "advance" paint in satin sheen , I called BM they said semi gloss will not be around until june. Would you recommened this paint for this project and maybe the rest of the trim in the home? And I was curious if we should prime first before we lay paint on the wainscotting? Thanks |

| Well , since you asked specifically for "paintguy" I will not answer. |

| Satin or semi gloss would be fine depending on how shiny you like it. It's personal preference. Primer is never a bad idea. |
