Peel Bond Primer

I was going to use Zinsser Peel Stop to prime my flaky walls (after scraping, of course). Then I read here someone using their Triple Thick high build version. Then run into XIM's Peel Bond high build primer. So, which one.

I don't like how watery the regular Peel Stop or Gardz products are. They splatter very easily. I assume the high build products are even more binding. Does their leveling characteristic even out roller stipple marks on the wall? I really don't want slick walls (a slight texture is appealing to me) but would love to fill the compound pinholes along with inhibit future peeling with a steroid version. Less splatter is very appealing too.

What is your experience with these products?

TIA
