I have been having the hardest time choosing color for my apartment, which is 2nd floor and has slanted ceilings and picture rail all around. The slanty ceilings are quite prominent design feature and my original thought was to reverse the usual order of having color on the walls and white/neutral on the ceiling, and instead have the ceiling be a color, the same color throughout the apartment. Question is - which colors? Now tentatively thinking - a bluish green for ceilings (reminiscent of sky) and greener greens or yellow-green for walls. Yellow (or red or orange!) for kitchen.

If ya'll could suggest a specific red-yellow-green combination that would be VERY helpful and give me a starting point to begin making a decision. I have NO PROBLEM picking out colors I love but where I'm getting stuck is how they work together.

My colors will need to be on the mid to lighter side (but not pastel) fwiw.
