Help with paint color...Edgecomb Gray?

I am remodeling my kitchen and paining the adjacent
family room. I have painted the kitchen BM Owl Grey.
Family room color needs to change, something to work with the kitchen and the Owl Gray. Here is a swatch of BM Edgecomb Gray next to the fireplace. I think it looks a little off.

I welcome other suggestions...thank you!
