One neutual paint color/type for rental property

Posted by jjnv (My Page) on

I am looking for one color and minimal amount of variation to use on my rental properties. I thought it must have been discussed here before but I did not find much by searching. Any ideas? I know one builder uses Duron Cool Platinum.

Thanks a lot for your advice,

I've always like the "Swiss Coffee" (very pale taupe) by Glidden.

It's light, but not stark, and goes well with anything.

I also vote for a light, neutral taupe. We used SW Taupe Tone lightened to 40% throughout our house and I'm quite happy with it. At 40% it is fairly light, but gives some color to the walls. It is also very neutral, working with our darker wood furniture, beige carpet and more colorful pieces too.

Thanks for the suggestions. Olivesmom, have you compared your finished color with the accessible beige that is on the same strip? I found some pictures with the accessible beige and really like it.
