For best results, you will have to put on a primer or rust sealer prior to painting. This is available in a spray paint type of can, thus remember to coat in an open spot and make sure you will not spoil the floor while painting. Spray the primer or sealer smoothly over the all round the exterior of the furniture with even strokes. Leave the primer to dry up.
