| Our cabinet maker has recommended a finisher for our cabinets. In general I trust my cabinetmaker's opinion but I'm fussy about paint finishes (due to a lot that I've learned here) so I'm just double checking everything ahead of time. He plans to use Sherwin Williams Opex production lacquer on the cabinets, which will be painted in a color match to a Benjamin Moore white. My preference is a satin finish. The details for this product on the Sherwin Williams site are a bit above my knowledge level so I'm looking for some thoughts on this product. Main concerns for me are the ability to color match it, non-yellowing and durability, plus the ability to do it in a satin finish as I can't even really tell from the website if that is an option. Thank you in advance. |
