I am in need of advise on our kitchen cabinets. Like so many others, we have contractor honey-oak cabinets. Recently, my hubby replaced our flooring with a dark walnut. I love it and so badly want to make the rest of the kitchen feel complete. I started staining the island with General Finishes Java stain that I researched on here. Now, I am debating if I should stain the bottom portion of the surrounding cabinets and paint the top a creamy white or stain them all the dark Java color. Our appliances are all white and will not be replaced anytime soon. I am also planning on new paint color once I get the cabinets complete. Any helpful advise would be great.
