Have chosen a paint color will the color be the same on the wall

After about 6 weeks and numerous paint samples - I have finally chosen BM Golden Honey to paint a 2 story foyer, downstairs and upstairs hallways, and kitchen. Question - all of this is now painted a medium yellow. We will not be putting primer on first. 2 coats of paint will go on walls. Will the color be the same on the walls (painting over medium yellow) as it is on the white poster board we have been sampling on??

It sounds like you have put a great deal of time and effort into choosing a color for a high visibility area and other areas that will see a lot of family time. Taking that into account, and the importance to you that it implies, I would strongly suggest that you prime first - there's just no guarantee that any paint will cover another color so well that you will get the same results as on a pristine white surface. That's a lot of area and work to find out you should have primed.

Really no need to prime.( if it is flat) I would buy a quart sample and put that on( two coats) and see what it looks like.
