Any problem painting a PVC drain pipe with regular latex wall paint?

i painted mine about 15 years ago.. when i moved in ... to match the wall ...

i havent crawled under to utility sink since.. but i dont see any obvious problems ...

i just made sure i cleaned off all the dust and stuff.. before i went at it ...

I painted a pipe I used on a kegerator with latex and it scratched off due to being a semi-high use item. Removed the paint, sanded a bit and used a plastic compatible spraypaint. Primed and painted. Hard as a rock and no flaking years later.

Get some rustoleum primer spray paint for plastic. Then you can paint any type of paint on it and it should stay strong.
