Is one coat of paint spray on smooth interior doors enough?

My contractor sprayed one coat of paint on my 10 new primed interior doors (smooth surface). It looks fine. Would it be better to request a 2nd coat? The paint is BM snowfall white semi gloss.

The contractor said usually they only do one coat.

I think one coat is okay, two is better. For me, it would depend on the job and what the customer is willing to pay for. If they are on a budget, then this is one possible place I think we could get away with skimping. Either way, if you want another coat applied to the doors, then you should expect to pay for that extra coat if the painter only planned on applying one coat.
