| We are currently in the process of repainting and carpeting our living room. The far wall has a red brick fireplace on it, and we are thinking that we will paint the wall around the fireplace a darker color and the rest of the living room walls a lighter off white. Our new carpet is a neutral will a small tint of green in it. We are between a dark red color and a lighter green color currently for the wall next to the fireplace. We painted a sample color on each side, shown in this post. Which color goes better or is it preference? Any other recommendations? With the carpet dark chocolate furniture would look really good, but with the red it wouldn't work, but it would with the green, so if the red works better what color furniture would work? |
