Have Surplus Coats/Hats/Scarves?

| I just finished cleaning out our hall/coat closet. I saw a notice on the grocery store bulletin board the other day that one of the local nursing homes is asking for donations of coats, warm clothing, etc. for their residents.
Just wanted to remind everyone to check with facilities such as this to see if there is a need. I'd much rather give warm coats to the elderly who need them than to donate to somewhere that will resell them. Just a thought -now I gotta get back to work! LOL |

| I had my daughters two outgrown winter coats in my car when I noticed a bin in a grocery store from a group specifically looking for winter coats. I was so happy to drop them off! |

| absolutely ..and the coats for kids program is always right before Christmas. |
