| Well i just saw that someone brought up the spring checklist post and maybe this would be a good place to put a fall checklist post.
besides cleaning up the obvious gardens, garden tools and hoses here are a few things i think people should do.
clean chimney
change furnace filters
close your crawspace vents, leave attic open
winterize your small equipement, use stabil in your gas
prepare your shovels and snowblowers for winter snow
check over your winter clothing for repairs or cleaning
get your firewood in
do a final lawn mowing
rake up all leaves
protect your trees and shrubs from rodents
take in water features, drain well
clean and put out bird feeders
please add as i don't have a list here to reference from
also there are a few really great books out there that tell you what do to each season of the year |
