Space bags

Has anyone bought them. I am desperate to make smaller storage space & bought some.. I have only filled one as I just received them today. It helt quite a bit but I used the vaccuum like it said.. it compresed them but also losing the compresssion within minutes.. Am I doing something wrong?

If U have had any experience with them let me know. I guess there just isn't a magic way to use less storage space.

Are you sure the whole bag is completely sealed? I have a couple from my mom and they did OK until I dropped one and it exploded.

I was using mine for extra sheets and blankets and finally decided it was far easier eto just get rid of the extras. It's not that convenient to get things in and out of them since they have to be re-suctioned... which means I never used what was inside.
