Gave away a couch

and loveseat via Freecycle.

DH bought the set 25 years ago. What's funny is that the guy who took them started laughing when he saw them -- he said he'd bought the same couch from the same store as DH around the same time. He'd given it away some time ago. He was happy to get these, though. I even threw in the surefit slipcovers I'd bought for them a few years ago.

So there's lots of nice empty space in our basement now.

Congratulations - I have an old ugly couch in my basement you can have if the space looks too empty...
