Decluttering in NYC/donations

Hi
I just wanted to mention places that take furniture, knickknacks, housewares etc. for those of you who have "zero" storage space for non-essentials.

The Fortune Society will take household items for use by people who are moving into apartments. Furniture even the cheaply made plastic/wood is expensive to purchase(cheap dining room tables near me are $700.)so I'm sure they would be happy with table chairs etc. They also need kitchenware.
Betel America also runs thrift stores to keep their program going. They will pick up entire "collections" too. In fact I bought a nice solid wood 1930's/40's dining room table w/4 chairs from them for $350(built in leaf, seats 6)but I decided it's too big(53") so I'm donating it to the Fortune Society along with some kitchen items. I WISH it fit !
