Organizing the Home

personal inventory template for macs?

If you have an Apple computer, do you know if there's a good and easy software program out there to do a home inventory listing, with scanned photos/receipts?

I have a stack of photos but would really like to have something on a CD and not the hard-copy stuff in a box.

Or is there a way to do it with any of the usual software, like MS Word or Powerpoint? (I'm not really up to speed on my MacBook; I'm a recent convert!)

My adult kids have new mac products that do all the things you ask about and more. They are so easy to use I wonder why people buy anything else...well, except for price. When I play with their computers I realize that I would love a new one. My iMac is from before the turn of the century; it's the devil I know, and as an old dinosaur myself, I am content with its stoneage capabilities. Old as it is it does great stuff with photos, Quicken, disc burning, etc.

I do envy you, though, with your brand new machine. You're going to have a lot of fun with it. Welcome to the club!

Check Quicken for Mac. My Quicken does have a space for keeping track -home inventory.
