My DH and I built our "retirement" home at the lake a few years ago (we retire in about 3 years), and are now in the process of finishing up the lower level--didn't have the builders do this to save some money. Once all the fixtures are in the bathroom, we will have a floor-ceiling storage area on one wall that is 48" wide! We will also have a storage area on the opposite wall that will be 24" wide--probably perfect for normal bath items. This is because the architect configured a 60" vanity, and we'll be installing a 36" instead. I need some new and different ideas for the 48 -- this bathroom will not be used on a daily basis, so we should not have much of a humidity issue.
