Tough for us to say, as we do not know what you do, how you do it, and what sort of specific storage you need!

I prefer IKEA over your other two choices.

What are you storing? It's hard to make suggestions without knowing what supplies you need to store.

The upper kitchen cabinents--are you hanging these on the wall at head height int the entryway? Or using them as a console in the entryway? A few specifics would help here.

As for value--it depends. How sturdy do you need the cabinets to be? Can you wait for a sale?

IKEA is my choice, too. You can take those 12" deep upper cabinets and stack them and make a whole wall of storage. Include a few glass doors for interest, too. We have 39" high 12" deep cabinets along one half wall, so total with base and counter top is about 46". Infinite number of ways to arrange them.

But much better quality than the other two. We have basic HD cabinets in the workshop/basement, and IKEA in our kitchen. No comparison.
