| I made pinto beans and ham, then rinsed the juice off beans in a colander and made chili, the little chunks of ham didn't matter at all. Now we're going to take the leftover chili and make velveeta chili dip for new years tomorrow night. how's that for frugal? |

| I know this is an old thread now, but it's never too old to add, is it? I take a meatloaf, have a dinner or two, then a couple sandwiches, then if there's anything left, into a hot dish, chili or spaghetti. |

| Sounds good! My one-year old twins wouldn't eat a vegetable lasagna I made, but they did like the noodles. So I blended the rest up- veggies, ricotta, and sauce- and used that as a sauce for spaghetti. They loved it. |
