VElvetta Recipe

I am looking for a recipe called silvers where you use ground beef, celery, onions, Velvetta and Chili Sauce. It's cooked and then put on buns in tin foil and baked in the oven. Any ideas?
Thanks!

| I was waiting to see if anyone else would respond. Don't really know if you need a recipe, sounds like you have the ingredients and it's one of those things that you use amounts you choose. If you like a lot of onion, add a lot, etc. Sounds basically like a cheesy sloppy joe to me that's baked. Similar in ways to the old school "pizza burger" there they'd take a ground beef and sauce mixture, put on a bun half, top with a little cheese and bake. Those were so good! You could add green pepper, garlic or anything else that you like too. I think this would also go good on a loaf of french bread if you're making for a group. Just a couple of ideas. |

| Sounds good to me; maybe put the entire mixture in a crock pot so people can grab a bun and help themselves. My family is in and out all times of the day! |
