I am a Canadian and have just recently discovered this very impressed with all the great advice and recipes.
A few years ago I was holidaying in California and had the opportunity to go to dinner with a friend's of the side dishes we had was a green bean casserole....I do not even like green beans but not wanting to be rude tried a small was so good I had thirds!!
As I recall it contained crumbled bacon and I believe cream soup then done in a casserole dish in oven.
Anyone have a clue what the recipe is? I would really appreciate it!

There are a lot of ways you can make it. Basically drain your green beans, I use two cans, stir in a can of cream soup and possibly a little milk if it is too thick. You can add shredded cheese or top with sliced cheese, crumbled bacon and a can of french fried onions and bake or microwave until hot. Hope that helps!
