Lunch pockets!

| Okay, this may not be new to you guys, but I have recently discovered Pita bread, and all sorts of great "pocket sandwiches" that I can make ahead, freeze, and heat up for lunches. I cannot believe I didn't discover this long ago...amazing!! I've been wrapping/freezing them in foil since I don't have a microwave yet (heat in the oven at 400* over my lunch hour), but I think ziplocs will work just fine for when I get a microwave.
Anyways, I made 'pizza' pockets last week, and I'm planning on making ham/cheese/broccoli pockets this week. Anyone have any other great ideas for hot sandwich fillings for these? I'm thinking a really thick chili-type filling has potential too... |

| Here is a whole heaping helping of sandwich recipes. I did a search on Google for "sandwich recipes." | Wow polkadot - thanks a bunch! I had done a couple searches and come up with some of those...just wondering if people had favorites or originals they really liked. :-) |

| I usually make cold sandwiches myself, not hot. I have made them with the standard Hot Pocket fillings using crescent rolls instead of pita bread. |

| I found a great chicken salad recipe that I'll post later...it's good for a cold sandwich. The weather is getting cold quickly here though, so hot is better! :-) |

We have the pita pockets for dinner sometimes. We put shredded chicken, letttuce, tomato, onions and ranch salad dressing in them. We also did them caeser style with steak and romaine. Jane |

| We also make chicken caesar pitas for dinner, but they cannot be frozen. Romaine lettuce, chicken parmesan cheese, caesar dressing (we like Newman's Own Creamy Caesar). |
