| The other day, I found some whole chickens at a decent price. I bought a couple. I cut them up and fried them. After they had cooled, I put them into a large bag and put them in the freezer. I have since thawed some and eaten it, and it tastes just fine. From now on, I will buy a bunch when they have a good sale price and fry and freeze them. They make a quick meal, but it looks and tastes like I've slaved in the kitchen.
By the way, I dip my chicken and chops in seasoned flour before I fry them. Here is the recipe if you'd like it. Seasoned Flour 8 C. all-purpose flour
Mix well. Store in airtight container. Use for coating meats to fry. |
