Fried Chicken

The other day, I found some whole chickens at a decent price. I bought a couple. I cut them up and fried them. After they had cooled, I put them into a large bag and put them in the freezer. I have since thawed some and eaten it, and it tastes just fine. From now on, I will buy a bunch when they have a good sale price and fry and freeze them. They make a quick meal, but it looks and tastes like I've slaved in the kitchen.

By the way, I dip my chicken and chops in seasoned flour before I fry them. Here is the recipe if you'd like it.

Seasoned Flour

8 C. all-purpose flour
1/3 C. salt
1/8 C black pepper
2 T. garlic powder
4 T. onion powder

Mix well. Store in airtight container. Use for coating meats to fry.
