Freezing Homemade Salsa

This question was asked in 2001. I would like an update. How do you freeze homemade chunky salsa so it does not become mushy?

It can't be done....freezing breaks down the vegetable pieces.
You can freeze a cooked salsa, which is thicker and less "fresh"...just put it into a covered container and freeze it..

It can be canned though. Might try that instead.
