Spaghetti Pie posted by Leigh Ann 11-27-98 2:31 PM Spaghetti Pie 6 oz Spaghetti 2 tb Butter or margarine 2 Eggs, beaten 1/3 c Grated Parmesan cheese 1 c Cream-style cottage cheese 1 lb Ground beef 1/2 c Chopped onion 1/4 c Chopped green pepper 7 1/2 oz Tomatoes, cut up 6 oz Tomato paste 1 t Sugar 1 t Dried oregano 1/2 ts Garlic salt 1/2 c Shredded mozzarella cheese In saucepan cook spaghetti in a large amount of boiling salted water for 10 to 12 minutes or just till tender; drain (should have about 3 cups). Stir butter or margarine into hot spaghetti; stir in beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese. Form spaghetti mixture into a "crust" in a greased 10-inch pie plate. Spread with cottage cheese. In skillet cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper till meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and garlic salt; heat through. Turn mixture into spaghetti crust. Cover edges with foil. Bake in 350' oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese; bake about 5 minutes more or till cheese is melted. Spaghetti Broccoli Spaghetti Pie Joanne posted 04-17-98 Chicken Broccoli Spaghetti Pie 8 oz. spaghetti 2 tbl. margarine 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 eggs, beaten 3 cups frozen cuts 2 tbl. flour 2 cups cooked chicken 1 jar Alfredo sauce 1/4 cup Italian flavored breadcrumbs 1 tsp. butter, melted Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook spaghetti; drain. Add 2 margarine, Parmesan and eggs. Mix well and spread in a greased 9 or 10 inch pie pan. Combine frozen broccoli cuts, flour, 2 cups cooked chicken meat, and alfredo sauce. Pour into the crust. Combine breadcrumbs butter, and sprinkle on top of pie. Bake for 40 minutes. You can use tuna instead of chicken |
