That book has been around forever. It would be fine if we all had the same skin and reactions but we don't. I find what works for me through trial and error but it may not be what works for someone else. I personally cannot use some product brands. I'm allergic to some that are supposedly hypoallergenic and not to others. Cannot stand certain fragrances. The hylexin was the subject of a TV story just the other night with another product created by a dermatologist that supposedly resurfaces hands on mature skin. If it works on you go with it. If not, return it and tell them you're allergic as many places will refund you in that case. But overall, anything sold o-t-c (drugstore or dept store) will not have the same result as something prescribed by cosmetic dermatologists. And nothing truly removes bags under the eyes execept, well, you know.

Just about ALL space heaters sold at the stores use 1500W of power, and any of them will certainly heat a room. Those that use less produce less heat of course. Those that use more produce more. It is physics. Do realize that running a 1500W appliance continuously is sucking a lot of energy. "The site here explains the three major types of heat." That site does not explain anything. It is ADVERTISING. It uses a lot of fluff words like amazing, superb, excellent, and the like. Then it goes on to carefully select words that sound like solid scientific data arranged to make this heater they sell sound like it is something new and different. Everything the ad says is carefully arranged and worded to be misleading when you read it. For instance they say that the unit "only" draws 1500W of power and reminds the reader that a 'simple coffee maker' uses 1500W of power, which is true, but you don't keep your coffee maker running 24 hours a day either, do you? A coffee maker only draws 1500W for about one or two minutes and then reduces power consumption to about 300W to keep the warmer on (if it has one - some don't), and even that is shut off after the coffee is gone. The write the ad to try to convince the reader that there is some brand new scientific hocus-pocus that they invented that they exclusively sell. What they are selling is a space heater that is no different than other ones you can pick up at the store for about $30. As, I said before, a space heater does have it's advantages in some situations like for zone heating. You can set your furnace thermostat for your house at say 40° or 50° so that your pipes don't freeze and your wallpaper does not peel off, and use the space heater in a room that you are using with the door closed to keep yourself comfortable. Using a space heater instead of baseboard heaters that are already installed in their home, like your neighbors do, is NOT going to save energy. You can't cheat physics. If they calculated your average to be $250/mo and you are now paying $188/mo you will have a HUGE balloon payment at the end of your cycle. I hope you have the lump sum money set aside to pay it when you get your bill. Unless you have done something to reduce your usage from the last two years, (which is what they calculate the figure from), like get new windows or adding insulation, and know that your usage will be less, OR know that the price/rate of fuel has gone down in your area, (not likely), and the new figure is closer to what you will owe, you could be in a financial predicament at the end of the billing cycle. All a budget plan does is spread your payments over a period of time so that your bill does not fluctuate wildly, and you know what your monthly payments will be, ie; no 'surprises'. ☛☛☛ It is not a "discount" nor does it produce any "savings". You pay for what you use. Period.

The mayo would be my hesitation to freeze. Some recipes would freeze better than others me thinks. I would probably prep some of the parts ahead in kit form. Maybe grate the cheese now and portion in 1 lb zip lock getting all the air out. You could even add the spice and pepper. Chives and/or another herb would add nice color and flavor. Assemble the night before the first event and fridge them. (i think you have three balls to make?) The no-freeze lists are fine, even the first one posted if you read the copy. It was mentioned to not expect fresh when thawed, but perfectly edible to cook with. I recently roasted a half dozen red peppers and a few dozen halapenos, chopped/sliced, then froze in small useful portions. A bag of limes i juiced and froze in ice cube trays. Meyer lemons i freeze whole and grate a bit as needed... Many things freeze fine if used in cooking or cubed fruit going straight into a smoothy. Saran is a nice tight way to seal something like a cheese ball to keep its shape and get all the air out but it should be further sealed in something heavier like a freezer thick zip-lock. Or foil. Or freezer wrap, parchment. I use to make something i called an AntHill. Lined a small half dome soup bowl with saran, then line it with paper thin provolone from my deli. Lay in some nice herb leaves, chives, basil, parsley, thin slivers of sundried tomatoes...then another layer of thin prov...a layer of nutty pesto, then my cheese ball filling...usually white cheddar, cream cheese and some spice. Fold over the excess saran and chill overnight. Flipped over and un-molded it had a nice see-through design of herbs. Sprinkled with a trail of toasted black sesame seeds for the ants. It was my holiday go-to dish for a few years. Easy to travel to parties. Something like that, kept cold in a ceramic bowl in a chilly part of the fridge, i would be fine making it 4-5 days in advance. I would not freeze it for NewYears if i made it today. But i would shop for the ingredients and have them ready to make a day or two in advance. Cheese grated, herbs washed, and ready for assembly the night before.

Let me specifically address freezing cream cheese. I ALWAYS have several pounds of it in the freezer. There's such a range of price for it (.89 on sale, up to 2.50 when it's not) that I buy loads when it's cheap, pop the boxes into ziplock bags and toss into the freezer until needed. 'They' say not to freeze it because when defrosted, it gets an odd, splintery texture. Here's the fix. Let the cream cheese (in the package) defrost completely to room temp. Put in your electric mixer and beat 5-10 minutes and it will smooth out beautifully. Alternatively, you can put the defrosted cheese in a microwave container, zap 1-2 minutes, then stir with a spoon. Either way, the cheese will taste and look perfectly fine. I use it in cheesecake, for dips, and as a spread. And by freezing cream cheese, you can save many, many $$$ in the course of a year
