| Hi all,
I really enjoy this forum. It has the best ideas. I like to cook at a ratio of 1:3. That is, I want to get at least 3 meals out of one cooking. Yesterday, I put a HUGE roast in the crock pot. Last night, we had thin-sliced roast, twice baked potatoes, and corn. (Nothing green, this time.) Tonight with left-over roast and broth, I'll make beef tips and rice with some green beans on the side. Hopefully, there will be enough roast left over for wraps for lunch tomorrow. Just thought I'd share. Have a great day.

| Sounds good, Angela. I love to cook a large roast too because I can get so much mileage out of it!! You mentioned beef wraps. What do you put in your beef wraps and how do you prepare them? Thanks! |

| For the beef wraps, I'll slice the roast beef very thin, microwave it to warm it up, spread cream cheese on a tortilla, top with roast and shredded cheese. Roll up and enjoy. I'll probably cook french fries to go with them. You could put onions, peppers, mushrooms or whatever else you'd like. You could even roll it up cold with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc. |

| Those sound tasty. I'll give it a try! Thanks for the ideas. |
