I once had a recipe for Baked Crabmeat Casserole and can't
find it. Anybody heard of this one?

RE: Crab-meat...???

Crabmeat Casserole
From Website of Special Dreams and One

5 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp Flour
2 cup Half and Half
2 tbsp Sherry
1 tsp Salt
1 dash Hot Pepper Sauce
1 dash Black Pepper
1 tbsp Butter
1 ea Eggs beaten

2 tbsp Celery chopped
1 lb Crab fresh
1/4 cup Green Onions minced
1/4 cup Onion minced
1 tbsp Parsley minced
1 tbsp Green Bell Pepper minced
2 tbsp Pimentos minced

Make a white sauce of the 5 tablespoons butter and 3 tablespoons flour and
half & half. Saute next 6 ingredients in some butter and add to the white
sauce. Remove from heat. Add sherry. Add a small amount of sauce to beaten
egg. Then add egg to the rest of the sauce. Add salt, pepper and crabmeat.
Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole, sprinkle with bread crumbs mixed with 1
tablespoon melted butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

RE: Crab-meat...???

I love crabmeat just dotted with butter and stuck under the broiler for a few minutes. So simple and delicious - especially when my dad picks the crabs!
