Pre-made toaster garlic bread!

For Italian meals we make our own "Texas Toast," but we put it in the toaster, not the oven so it's hot garlic bread in a couple minutes.

We bake a loaf or two of bread in our bread machine, and cut the slices thick. Then, in a microwaveable bowl we melt about a half cup of butter flavored vegetable oil, a tablespoon butter for flavor, Italian seasoning, parmesan powder and powdered garlic. We pull the melted topping out of the microwave, and spoon it onto the slices, spreading it evenly and letting it sink into the bread. Then, the slices go two at a time into sandwich bags in the freezer. Because the melted garlic mixture absorbs into the bread before freezing, when it goes it the toaster it doesn't drip, just gets hot and browned and toasty with the perfect oily texture I want out of garlic bread. "instant garlic bread" comes out of the toaster four slices at a time and since it's flat we can stack 20 servings worth in the freezer door no problem.
