Can I freeze potato soup? I used a new recipe last night and it was great. But, it was a lot of work! I was wondering if I could make a large batch and freeze it. Thanks for you help.

I have never tried it, but I had a friend who did. She said that it all separated and she had to throw it out.

Brooke, I have tried it and along with icebird's friend mine separated when I cooked it. I tried eating it and the break down was with the potatoes. I won't freezed it again. I was just thinking though maybe the potatoes wouldn't turn to mush if they were undercooked. Just a thought.
