If I HAD to move to town........

I could live here. But what would I do with my "older than this house" furniture? I think furniture looks ok if it's from different periods in time as long as the house is older than the furniture. Love that red and white kitchen table! I have a yellow and white set as a second table.

And I think putting more modern furniture in an old house ruins the "feel" and joy of an old house. Think of it this way, you save up for a "new" house, maybe you have it built so it's "brandy new" but you can't afford new furniture-so you use what you have.
I think older furniture in a newer house works just fine.
