I think this is fascinating. It's interesting to see kitchen in particular. We get so spoiled with all of our 'gadgets', it's interesting to see how people managed before.

And I absolutely love the picture rails!

Very interesting. The family must have been very tight-knit to have had the goal of keeping everything the same for so many years. I wonder if this could ever happen in America.

I reinstalled pictures rails in our old house and absolutely love them. So much easier than poking holes all over.

I've seen wooden bath racks in thrift stores but didn't know what they were used for.

Interesting to see that they hung pictures from the ceiling.
